Software Developer IV
Typical Functions
MUST BE ABLE TO QUALIFY FOR SECRET CLEARANCE
Work with IT management and business teams to translate business requirements into SharePoint 2013 solutions.
Create workflows to improve process efficiency; guide business teams on best practices.
Develop custom web parts, event receivers, application pages, site collections, document libraries, enterprise lists, business intelligence dashboards, etc...
Demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams and charts.
Maintain the development, test and production environments for multi-site global access.
Manage SharePoint access/security.
Provide SharePoint health monitoring and log analysis; work with IT for performance tuning as needed.
Respond to service desk ticket escalations. Investigate, analyze, document, and correct reported defects.
Create and maintain technical documentation as well as assist with training and related materials as needed.
Manage/ensure third party software is functioning properly; provide reports if needed.
Evaluate and adopt new SharePoint technologies as they become available.
Note: SharePoint's hardware, software/upgrades, backup/recovery, high availability and network load balancing is the responsibility of Technical Engineering; however, the SharePoint developer should understand its setup.
Qualifications
Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong technical documentation and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail, goal-oriented, highly motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision
Able to work with both technical and non-technical staff
Extensive experience in SharePoint design, development and maintenance
Experience with SharePoint's Designer, WorkFlow, CSOM, JSOM
Microsoft certification in SharePoint and/or SQL Server is a plus
Knowledgeable with Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft Office, HTML, CSS, JavaScript. jQuery, AJAX, and C#.
Experience with SQL (language) or SharePoint Central Administration is a plus
Education/Training
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems; or related experience.
Experience
2 years’ of experience in SharePoint design, development and maintenance.
