Scope
The Indian Affairs offers an extensive scope of programs that covers the entire range of Federal, State and local government services. Programs administered by either Tribes or Indian Affairs through the Bureau of Indian Education (BIE) include an education system consisting of 183 schools and dormitories educating approximately 42,000 elementary and secondary students and 28 tribal colleges, universities, and post-secondary schools. Programs administered through the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) include social services, natural resources management on trust lands. The BIA represents 55 million surface acres and 57 million acres of subsurface minerals estates, economic development programs in some of the most isolated and economically depressed areas of the United States, law enforcement and detention services, administration of tribal courts, implementation of land and water claim settlements, housing improvement, disaster relief, replacement and repair of schools, repair and maintenance of roads and bridges, and the repair of structural deficiencies on high hazard dams, the BIA operates a series irrigation systems and provides electricity to rural parts of Arizona. Scope
FEMA’s Office of Response and Recovery provides guidance leadership and oversight to build, sustain and improve the coordination and delivery of support to citizens and state, local, tribal and territorial governments to save lives, reduce suffering, protect property and recover from all hazards.
We provide support to the FEMA’s Office of Response and Recovery (ORR) through grant writing, estimating, and accounting to provide guidance, leadership, and oversight to build, sustain, and improve the coordination and delivery of support to citizens and State, local, Tribal and Territorial governments to save lives, reduce suffering, protect property and recover from all hazards. Specific responsibilities include staffing project managers to provide customer service to applicants through the PA grant delivery process and managing the process of PA grant delivery to individual applicants. Services under this contract include ensuring program delivery in a timely manner that meets the applicant’s recovery priorities, facilitating meetings and evaluating and making recommendations to FEMA as to whether the claim is eligible.
In addition, responsibilities include assisting the Applicant with documentation requirements per grant guidelines and coordinating transmittal of documents and information between the Applicant and CRC. Program Managers oversee site inspections, reviewing damage details, scopes of work, and costs with the applicant. Identifies any need for Technical Specialists, Construction managers, Construction/site inspectors preparing detailed damage descriptions during inspections.
