Typical Functions


  1. Performs duties involving development, testing, implementation and maintenance of server operating system(s) and related software solutions.
  2. Interfaces and coordinates daily with internal ASC and external technical teams supporting the enterprise IT Infrastructure.
  3. Manages, monitors and maintains servers, operating systems and other interfaced components (eg network, applications and sites) regularly to ensure reliability, security, optimization and consistent levels of expected performance.
  4. Establishes and implements standards for computer operations for compatibility between hardware and software according to ASC directed specifications and parameters.
  5. Troubleshoots and resolves hardware, operating system and networking problems.
  6. Schedules, performs and monitors system backups and performs data recoveries when necessary.
  7. Recommends hardware and software upgrades according to growth statistics and disk space forecasts.
  8. Performs resource and user activity monitoring and reviews logs to identify performance degradations and anomalies.
  9. Supports evaluations, develop, acquisition, installation, and maintenance of ASC IT systems and services.


Qualifications


  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
  • Server 2008 certification
  • BS/BA Degree
  • Security+ certification
  • Security Clearance or able to obtain before starting
